CERTAIN STATINS (simvastatin and rosuvastatin) DO CAUSE PLAQUE REGRESSION!
Though most of you that follow me hate statins sometimes they can be a lifesaver.
When you're faced with an impending heart attack from severe coronary artery disease (which also probably means you have bad carotid artery plaque so yes you are possibly headed for a stroke too) you better consider a statin and choosing the right one becomes critical.
