Understand the connection

Hormone production requires cellular energy. CoQ10 supports mitochondrial energy transfer, and ubiquinol is its reduced form.

Follow the pathway

Dr. Purser connects this energy pathway with Leydig cells and the steps that convert cholesterol toward testosterone. He also discusses antioxidant protection in hormone-producing tissues. The presence of this pathway does not prove a CoQ10 supplement will correct a low hormone level.

Bring these questions to your visit

Ask which hormone measurements, symptoms, medicines, sleep, and metabolic factors need review. Discuss a documented nutrient concern alongside an appropriate hormone evaluation.
