Putting the pieces together

Dr. Purser’s notes connect COX-2 genetics with responses to anti-inflammatory medicines. A marker does not prove that a COX-2 inhibitor will fail. Medication choice should consider the actual response, cardiovascular and kidney risks, gastrointestinal history and other medicines.

A question to bring to your visit

What has my actual response to anti-inflammatory treatment been, and which risks shape the next choice?
