Understand the connection

Blood-vessel health involves blood pressure, lipids, glucose, smoking exposure, inflammation, and other factors. A collection of genetic findings needs to be interpreted with this measured clinical picture.

Follow the pathway

Dr. Purser brings together homocysteine, IL-6 signaling, HFE iron handling, PAI-1 fibrinolysis, MAO metabolism, MTHFD1, and PEMT in his vascular teaching. These are pathways to understand, rather than a fixed ranking of risk for everyone who carries those gene names.

Bring these questions to your visit

Ask which concerns are confirmed and which changes have evidence for your situation. Review aspirin, nattokinase, fish oil, and other supplements for bleeding and medicine interactions. Cardiovascular prevention and lipid-treatment decisions need an individualized clinical assessment.
