Your local doctor will likely tell you that MTHFR testing and taking an MTHFR Daily supplement is a waste of money. They might even claim it isn't a real medical issue. After 15 years of hearing this pap, I can tell you they are flat-out wrong . Every day that I run into abject medical ignorance—where medicine arrogantly refuses to bend to the hard truth of proven science—I remember Ignaz Semmelweis. Semmelweis died a broken pauper in an asylum, his life destroyed by the conventional doctors of his generation who refused to accept handwashing. Their dismissive attitude today stems not from mal

Hi, I’m Dr. Dan Purser. For too long, autism has been treated as a mystery with only symptom management. In this episode, I break down what I’ve seen consistently in practice: the real root cause behind many cases on the spectrum. It starts with genetic variants (especially MTHFR and related SNPs) that break the transsulfuration pathway. When kids can’t efficiently convert homocysteine into glutathione, they lose their ability to detox heavy metals and environmental toxins. The result is chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, and developmental challenges. The good news? Once we identify these biochemical and genetic imbalances through proper testing, we can intervene at the root with targeted support — restoring methylation, rebuilding glutathione function, and giving the body what it needs to heal. This isn’t theory. It’s the Purser Method® in action. If you’re a parent searching for real answers instead of just labels, this episode is for you. The root cause has been solved. Now let’s talk solutions.
