The new DRP Genetics test, designed by Dr. Purser in collaboration with MaxGen, makes genetic testing simple and precise. Each kit comes pre-filled with everything you need—just swab your cheek, place it in the vial, and send it back the same day using the prepaid mailer. This curated panel focuses on key SNPs Dr. Purser selected after years of research, giving patients clearer answers and actionable insights into their health.
Hello everybody. This is Denise Perser from Dr. Perser MD, Dan Perser, MD, Perser Wellness. Thank you so much for your time. Today we're going to talk about Max Jen and the DRP. You can see it on our website. It's Dr. Perers's especially curated uh genetic slides,
SNIPS. And uh he spent about a year and a half putting this together with the uh president of the company. and we're so excited to have it roll out and release. I just want to kind of go over uh how we do this test kit. Uh when you get this little envelope in the mail, you'll want
to open the package very carefully. Don't rip it open. Inside is your lab form. If you've ordered it through the website, it's going to come out pre-filled and including an MG number. It will match the vial that you're going
to put your specimen in. And it will be marked Perser Wellness Genetics. That's the DRP testing we're so excited about for Dr. Perer. So, all of this should come prefilled. You do not need to add payment options. Just know that everything is in the system and taken
care of at the time of purchase. Also in the test kit is a prepaid uh USPS mailer. We can't emphasize enough because it takes so long to do the turn time on our MaxGen DRP testing. Please
do it the day you get it. Um, and then put it back in the envelope that it comes in affixing this to the back of it. It has a self-adhesive tape. Please feel free to pull that off and take care of it. Push it down. If you want to tape it again, go right ahead. Follow your
instinct on that. The actual test comes with a swab. You'll carefully open this swab following the directions on the back of the paperwork. It asks you not to have any food uh for an hour prior if
possible. Uh some of you have called in with questions. At the half hour mark, it should be okay. But 1 hour is really good. If you can uh abstain from food for that time period, have a little drink of water. Swish your cheeks. Get them kind of lubed up. You want to open
this up and the swab in. Do not touch it uh with your fingers if possible. We want it to be a super clean catch of the DNA. You're going to swab the inside of your cheeks each time, twisting and rotating 10 times on the inside of each cheek. Um this nice little bubble wrap,
we all love bubble wrap, um carries a blue bag that holds the specimen vial. And on that specimen vial is a number for a max gen number that matches the number on your paperwork. So it's a nice
double check. Always double check everything. You're going to snap off the swab into the vial. Removing the lid. Snap it off at the black perforated mark and leave that in there. That part of the swab. Put the lid back on it. Put
the little vial back in the blue bag. seal it and put it in the bubble wrap bag. Pull the little tape and seal that as well. Putting all of that back in to your MaxGen envelope with the prepaid
USPS label a fixed. Get it back in the USPS the day that it comes if you can, if not the day after. Can't emphasize that enough so we can get these tests back and in the works at the labs. We're so excited about this new MaxGen DRP
bundle that they have created for us. And uh please give us a call at the office if you have any questions. 8017967667. Myself or Brandy or Lindsay or Chantel are happy to answer any questions that you might have. Have a really great day.

Not all genetic tests are created equal. Many only scratch the surface, while the best panels look at hundreds of SNPs that impact methylation, detox, hormones, and nutrient absorption. For real results, you need a test that’s private, comprehensive, and clinically useful—like the ones we recommend in practice that help guide targeted treatment plans.
Your genetic results might list “wild type,” “heterozygous,” or “homozygous,” but what does that mean? Wild type means both copies of your gene are normal, heterozygous means one is normal and one has a change, and homozygous means both copies have the same change. With genes like MTHFR, these variations can affect how efficiently your body processes nutrients like folate—sometimes cutting function by 40–70%—which is why targeted nutrition and testing matter.
Genetic SNPs are tiny changes in your DNA that can drastically affect how well your enzymes and proteins work. For example, being homozygous for MTHFR C677T leaves that enzyme functioning at only about 30% efficiency, which can drain your energy and impair folate processing. Similarly, errors in SOD genes reduce your body’s ability to neutralize free radicals. While we can’t change your genes, we can work around them by identifying these weaknesses and filling the gaps with targeted nutrition and supplementation—helping your body function closer to its full potential.
