Putting the pieces together

Dr. Purser’s notes connect HLA-DQA2 with antigen presentation. The key educational distinction is between a genetic marker, a complete HLA typing result and evidence of an immune disorder. CD4 T cells are helper T cells; they should not be mislabeled as the usual cytotoxic CD8 T-cell group.

A question to bring to your visit

Does this specific HLA marker have a validated clinical interpretation for the question being investigated?
